What is PermaSafe?
PermaSafe is a unique two-step surface disinfection and long-term antimicrobial protection system that can kill up to 99.999 percent of bacteria and viruses. It consists of 1) PermaSafe CLEAN and 2) PermaSafe SHIELD.
Additionally, PermaSafe can:
- Make surfaces antimicrobial to stop the growth of or kill microorganisms.
- Eliminate allergens, surface odors, and airborne odors.
- Destroy and prevent the regrowth of mold and mildew.
- Sanitize HVAC system components, ductwork and purify the air in each room.

Surface Disinfection & Long-term Antimicrobial Protection
PermaSafe is all-surface safe and can help your surfaces remain antimicrobial for months – all without using harsh chemicals. Its versatility also allows for the preservation and protection of interior surfaces including ceilings, walls, flooring, carpets, fabrics, textiles, furniture, and more.
Essentially, PermaSafe makes surfaces easier to clean and maintain over time. It makes surfaces hydrophobic, which helps repel stains from a wide variety of liquids and dirt. It shields and protects textiles including upholstery and carpets. PermaSafe also helps prevent odors, fading, and degradation of surfaces.

Step One | PermaSafe CLEAN
In a fogged-on application, PermaSafe kills harmful bacteria, viruses, odors, allergens, and more. It eradicates contaminants and primes the surface for a durable bond with PermaSafe SHIELD.
PermaSafe CLEAN is 100 percent biodegradable and free of phosphates, VOCs, abrasives, corrosives, fragrances, and residues. It’s a multi-functional, all-surface hospital-grade disinfectant that can:
- Sanitize to 99.999 percent in only 60 seconds.
- Provide heavy-duty odor, mildew, and mold elimination.
- Serve as an anti-allergen and germicidal 7-in-1 cleaner.
Step Two | PermaSafe SHIELD
After the application of PermaSafe CLEAN, PermaSafe SHIELD forms a bond with the surface it is applied to in order to produce a barrier that seals out liquids, bacteria, viruses and dirt to make the surface safe and easier to clean and maintain over time.
Once applied, PermaSafe SHIELD will remain antimicrobial and hydrophobic and work to eliminate the growth and spread of bacteria for 90 days. The benefit of selecting PermaSafe SHIELD over competitors is the fact that it is both non-toxic and provides long-lasting protection.
