Tilley Distribution Makes ICIS Chemical Distributors 2021 Top 100 List

Tilley Distribution has once again been named a top chemical distributor in the U.S. and the world by Independent Commodity Intelligence Services (ICIS), the leading trade publication for global commodities markets.

Tilley Distribution ranked No. 30 in North America and No. 118 in the world on the publication’s 2021 list, following Tilley’s more than $115 million in sales last year.

More than 300 companies submitted applications to be included in the ICIS Chemical Distributors Top 100 List for 2021. The publication factors in products, services, assets and sales figures into its rankings.

Tilley President and CEO Sean Tilley said the company’s consistent appearance on the ICIS list is a testament to its mission to serve customers and build solid relationships with suppliers.

“Our commitment to serving our clients and fostering relationships with our suppliers is the formula to long-term growth,” Tilley said.

Tilley Distribution kicked off 2021 by finalizing a partnership with SK Capital Partners that will help Tilley grow nationally and internationally. Sean Tilley says the deal will also allow the company to make strategic acquisitions to support further growth. Tilley currently operates two facilities in Baltimore and Belcamp, Maryland, totaling 220,000 square feet and has 67 employees at its chemical specialty division.
